2017 - ART ON THE AVENUE      

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL - 3rd Saturday of September  - September 16, 2017  

Cass County Arts Alliance presents "Art on the Avenue"  showcases various visual arts, fine arts, including pottery, jewelry, paintings and musical acts on Saturday, September 16th.  It is a juried art competition that many artists from all over Indiana come to show, sell and demonstrate their wares.  Art on the Avenue includes a Kids Corner that children are provided with a free make and take art adventure delighting one and all.  For the high school teen group, there is Chalk’n a Block, where the teens participate in themed drawing with chalk and awarded prizes for competition.  Stroll by the Overlook and enjoy the sounds of music, view and purchase art, enjoy the entertainment & great food for an afternoon which entices many from the afar.   


                                      


   








GENERAL INFORMATION

Admission is free for all to get in.  Free downtown parking with handicapped accessible parking is available.   

VOLUNTEER FOR THE FESTIVAL

If you are interested in volunteering to help with the festival (set up, tears down, info booth, artist assistance, etc.) please call 574-735-ARTS.  Being involved is not only rewarding but FUN!

The festival is held at the Little Turtle Waterway along the Wabash River at 4th Street and Melbourne Avenue - address:  400 E. Melbourne Ave., Logansport, IN 46947.
